I just love this picture of my son for many reasons. He just never fails to amaze me with the questions he asks and the observations he makes daily. But today, all of sudden Gabriel became a literacy genius. This is huge! He is in first grade and apparently just turned the biggest corner of his life. Yesterday he randomly sounded out words and struggled to read the basic of children's books with zero interest and today ... and today he read to me from a chapter book with ease! I caught him earlier sitting alone in his room reading and just turning the pages with anticipation of what would happen next! amazing.
